WHAT IS HYPNOSIS AND ITS USES

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness. This state of consciousness is achieved with the help of a Hypnotherapist and is different from your everyday awareness. During hypnosis your attention is more focused, your more open and less critical.                                                                                                                            During hypnosis the body and conscious mind are in a relaxed, natural state, while the subconscious mind is awake and receptive to positive suggestion. This heightens motivation by directing the attention span to focus on one area, i.e. weight control, inner peace, motivation and etc.                                                                                                           Hypnosis is “NOT” mind control. The client can still think, hear, make decisions and is ALWAYS in control. The Hypnotherapist is  there only to reinforce the clients goals through positive suggestion. Hypnosis empowers individuals to heal themselves but is not magic. It works best when the client is highly motivated and in a individual session with personal suggestions. The purpose of hypnosis as a therapeutic technique is to help you have more control over your behavior, emotions, or physical well being.                                                                                                                                                  Hypnosis is recognized by medical professionals and many prominent hospitals. The AMA and APA Associations has approved hypnotherapy for use by licensed professionals. In order to permanently free ourselves of negative or unwanted behavior and conditions, we need to get at the source and rewrite the patterns and programmings in our subconscious mind. That’s where hypnosis comes in as it works with the subconscious. It is a faster form of therapy because it deals with the root of the issue trying to be resolved.
Hypnosis achievements can include stop smoking, permanent weight control, overcoming fears/phobias, positive attitude, stress management, improve self-esteem and confidence, better self image, better health, relieve IBS symptoms, lower blood pressure, change negative behaviors, move on from broken relationships, addictions. and much much more!
